Time To Time

Silver moon in the valley of vines.
Some private detective,
got me on his mind.
I did something wrong,
I can't remember what.
I know if he finds me,
he might speak later,
after he's shot.

Time, time... In these wasted days.
It takes some time to time, time
Time, to go our separate ways.
It takes some time, time, time.
In these wicked years,
it takes some time, time to time,
before we disappear.

I been running back and forth
from Ladonia to Catuala.
If I had a quarter now,
I'd stop somewhere and call you.
There's something happening.
I ain't got time to regret.
There's something happening
and it ain't done yet.

It takes some time to time.
To go our separate ways.
It takes some time, time, to time time.
In our wicked days.
It takes some time, time time time.
As we watch those years.
Takes some time, time to time
before we disappear.

The moon looks larger
in this valley of vines
Through a mist that's nice
I got you in my mind.
She said she'd see me later
as we stood in the mist.
I sung it may be never,
this was our last kiss.

It takes some time, time to time
Before we go away.
It takes some time, time to time
In these wicked days.
It takes some time, time , time to time
Before we all decay.
It takes some time to time
Have a cigarette and watch her sway.

I got this somewhat harsh critique on the new song, can you listen and see if you agree?

Eugene N. Quaranta wrote: i had only the left earphone in & heard 75% music, i put the right in & i still had a hard time hearing the words. i am no musician, never could sing on key & for the last year or so not at all, so this is just my 2 cents worth. ps also past 60.
it sounds good.
