Good afternoon, Jordy, I love Gertrude Stein's Dada poetics, I used to
have her "In Circles" album on vinyl (given to me by my late friend
J.A.G. of Atlanta)... I may actually still have it out in the shed
archives.

"In his 1968 Obie-Award winning musical, composer Al Carmines took
Gertrude Stein's nonsensical writings (based solely on her pleasure at
the way certain words sounded together) and added glorious musical to
accompany the words. Despite this show's off-Broadway popularity, it was
never made into a CD.

The show starred Al Carmines himself, along with Theo Barnes, Jacque
Lynn Colton, Lee Crespi, Lee Guilliatt, James Hilbrandt, Julie Kurnitz,
George McGrath, Arlene Rothlein, Elaine Summers, David Tice, David
Vaughan, Arthur Williams, and Nancy Zala. The show was directed by
Lawrence Kornfeld. "
Hopefully I still have my copy, since it has never made it to CD.
